Introducing Baja! He is destined for greatness! Effortless, quintessential hunter movement with the scope for upper level hunter divisions and absolutely gorgeous!
Pedigree
Baja was sired by Cunningham in June, 2017; his dam sire is All the Gold. He is registered Belgian Warmblood and will have a lifetime USEF membership at the time he’s offered for sale. Cunningham is a Holsteiner Verband Germany approved stallion, sired by Cassini I and out of a mare by Contender. Since 2015, Cunningham has ranked in the top 10 of the USEF’s Leading Hunter Breeding Sires. To learn more about him: https://silverhorne.com/stallion-bloodlines/cunningham/
His Dam, Tribute to Gold, is registered Canandian Sport Horse. She was sired by Elite Hanoverian All the Gold (1982-2011). In 2012, All the Gold was inducted into the National Show Horse Hunter Hall of Fame. From 2008 to 2014, All the Gold ranked in the top 10 of the USEF’s Leading Hunter Sires. From 2015 to 2017, years after his passing, All the Gold still ranked in the top 25 of that same ranking. To learn more about him: https://hanoverian.org/news/in-passing/all-the-gold-1982-2011/

Effortless Suspension and Quiet Athleticism
Baja is always cool as a cucumber – brave and bold. His gaits are relaxed, lofty and ground-covering. He loves to work and is very curious. Summer, 2020, he spent 60 days at Diamond E Ranch getting started under saddle with Jon Ensign. This summer, as he turned 4, we started riding him again. It was important to me that, as a larger horse -now 16.1h, Baja’s body was given the time it needed to mature before entering into harder work. The intention was to set him up for fewer injuries in the future and a longer career under saddle.
His calm demeanor and unflappable attitude inspire confidence in his rider. He is currently beginning pole work and jump training with Thumbs Up Farm in Redmond, WA.
